Our modern lifestyle produces an incredible amount of waste, much of which ends up in our oceans and causes a lot of damage there: Ecosystems are heavily polluted, many marine animals become entangled in plastic, injure themselves or mistake it for food and die.
By founding their company, the founders of the startup dotch decided to become part of the solution themselves and are now working on making reusable plastic the standard for more product categories. With their company, they offer the first reusable system for cooking oil bottles, as these are extremely difficult to clean. dotch is a service provider for the management of a sustainable cycle for cooking oil bottles. In close cooperation with oil producers, they have developed a reusable oil bottle. Existing requirements for cooking oil are supplemented by important requirements for reusable cycles. The bottles are returned via reverse vending machines in stationary retail outlets. Together with its partners, dotch takes care of the cleaning. In this way, they make an important contribution to the protection of our oceans and thus to climate protection.
