The travel startup TripLegend was founded during the COVID-19 crisis and curates unique trips focused on returning tourism to what it should truly be: discovering local cultures away from tourist crowds in a sustainable manner that benefits locals and the environment. However, due to the current pandemic situation, the company is increasingly focused on offering COVID-19 safe travels. TripLegend provides up-to-date information on where travel is currently possible, what restrictions exist, and what to watch out for. The first three countries in the portfolio are Georgia, Greece, and Myanmar. Each trip includes a small group accompanied by a local guide who can provide travelers with an authentic experience of the country. TripLegend collaborates only with small local partner companies to achieve a positive local impact. Both the trips and the company are completely carbon-neutral through partnerships with ClimatePartner and One Tree Planted. To support environmental and social projects, trips may include visits to local schools where educational materials are donated. These trips offer a unique opportunity to explore a country safely during the current times, ensuring COVID-19 safety while still experiencing adventures up close.
