Susanne coordinates the SLE TRAINING program and, as parental leave cover, the SLE STUDIES program. She contributes to the strategic development of the SLE network and has been involved in various cooperation projects in West Africa focusing on adult education. Susanne studied Geography.

Prof. Dr. Matthias Tomenendal

Professor, University of Economics and Law

Prof. Dr. Matthias Tomenendal is a management expert with international academic and consulting experience. He holds an MBA from the University of Georgia, a doctorate in economics, and previously worked for the Boston Consulting Group in Germany and Poland. He is currently a professor at the HWR Berlin.

Research Botanist and Garden Manager at Späth-Arboretum, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin

Dr. Anika Dreilich is a biologist and the horticultural and technical director of the Späth Arboretum at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. She is responsible for the woody plant collection, the archive, and the herbarium, and works in research and education on botany, biodiversity, and wild plant conservation.

Research assistant, History Department, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin

Seydou Cissé is a research assistant at the History Department of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. He studied history, art history and archaeology in Munich, Istanbul and Berlin, graduating in 2024. His research focuses on German colonialism, German-Chinese relations during the German Empire, and ethnographic museum collections.
