The IQP emerged from the GCC (GreenCard Consult), founded in 2007 as a spin-off of the Humboldt University of Berlin. Shareholders and managing directors of the former GCC now offer, with the help of the Institute, the range of services that has been expanded over the years as well as access to experts from various universities. In addition, IQP is strongly integrated into the German university landscape through its services and products and its employees in research, development and teaching.
