The ROC Institute was founded in 2016 as part of a cooperation project between the "Psychological Diagnostics" unit of the Institute of Psychology at the Humboldt University of Berlin and the personnel consultancy FMT International. The decisive factor was the development of a competence-based procedure that differentiates professional success and makes it objectively measurable.
The Great-8-Tachometer (short: G8T) is today the only TÜV-certified procedure and can be used in a variety of ways, from personnel selection to personnel development and organizational development. In addition to the versatile application possibilities, the assessment system integrates modern theoretical foundations (competence framework model "Great Eight" by Kurz and Bartram, 2002) and current research standards in the faking sector.
With the Big 5 Navigator (short: B5N), The ROC Institute has expanded its product portfolio to include a personality procedure with a maximum range of job-related personality dimensions. The procedure is based on the well-known "Big Five" and adds 42 subtle facets to them, which can flexibly map any requirements in the areas of personnel selection, personnel development and organisational development.
In addition, The ROC Institute offers further procedures in the field of aptitude diagnostics and combines these with modern machine learning algorithms to catapult vocational diagnostics and modern HR processes into the age of digitalisation.
