Volker Hofmann im Interview mit FluxFM

Im Interview mit FluxFM spricht Volker Hofmann über die Bedeutung des Wissenstransfers von den Hochschulen in die Wirtschaft. Wenn aus wissenschaftlichen Ideen neue Startups entstehen, finden Innovationen und Forschung ihren Weg in die praktische Anwendung. Dabei sind Ausgründungen aller Fakultäten und Fachbereiche erfolgreich und wichtig. 

Doch wie gelingt der Sprung von der Uni ins eigene Business? Gerade, wenn betriebswirtschaftliches Wissen, das nötige Kapital, das Netzwerk und vor allem auch der Mut zum Entrepreneurship fehlen? 

Die Rolle der Humboldt-Innovation ist genau diese Schnittstelle. Es geht darum, den Transfer von Wissen und Innovationsansätzen in die Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft zu bringen. Die Gründung von Startups spielt hier eine wesentliche Rolle und so soll auch die Idee zu Gründen schon früh an die Studierenden und Forschenden herangetragen werden. Die Humboldt-Innovation bietet den „Entfaltungs- und Risikoraum“, die Entwicklung von Ideen, auch wenn sie noch am Anfang stehen, geschehen zu lassen und Gründer:innen dabei tatkräftig zu unterstützen. Der Startupservice berät Gründer:innen bei der Gestaltung ihres Startups und auch bei der Förderung durch Stipendien. Die Gründungsteams erhalten Zugang zu kostenlosen Büros und profitieren vom Netzwerk. 

Doch auch wenn Forschende und Studierende nach ihrer Zeit an der Hochschule in Unternehmen gehen, gelangen neue Erkenntnisse in die Wirtschaft und haben so einen Impact auf zukünftige Innovationen. Die dadurch gewonnene Berufserfahrung kann dann auch wiederum ein guter Startpunkt für ein eigenes Business sein.
