Belyntic gehört zu den Gewinnern des Innovationspreises Berlin Brandenburg!

Beeindruckende Erfindungen, nachhaltige Lösungen und Unterstützung während der Krise: Die Innovatorinnen und Innovatoren des Jahres 2020 stehen fest. Aus 221 Bewerbungen zum Innovationspreis Berlin Brandenburg stachen sechs Teams besonders heraus, darunter auch unser Alumni-Team Belyntic!

2016 wurde Belyntic von der Humboldt-Innovation mit dem EXIST Forschungstransfer gefördert und hat ein völlig neuartiges Verfahren entwickelt, das die Hürden in der Peptidreinigung überwindet. „Das Verfahren ermöglicht eine signifikant höhere Verlässlichkeit in der Wirkstoffforschung und kann die personalisierte Peptidmedizin, etwa zur Bekämpfung von Krebserkrankungen, Wirklichkeit werden lassen. Angesichts von Lösungsmitteleinsparungen von mehr als 75 Prozent ist das Verfahren ökologisch und ökonomisch attraktiv.“

Derzeit arbeitet Belyntic nicht nur an der Entwicklung von Krebsimpfstoffen sondern auch an einem COVID-19-Impfstoff. Das Gründerteam geht dabei einen anderen Weg als Biontech oder Moderna, mit dem Ziel einen dauerhaft wirksamen Impfstoff zu entwickeln, der gleichzeitig einfacher zu lagern sein könnte.
