Forum Junge Spitzenforschung 2025 – Water & Water Management

Forum Junge Spitzenforschung 2025 – Topic: Water & Water Management

In 2025, the Forum Junge Spitzenforschung is looking for innovative ideas on the topic of water and water management.

Water is one of the most valuable resources on our planet – and even in Germany, it is becoming increasingly scarce. The competition invites early-career researchers to submit scientific concepts that demonstrate how water can be used sustainably and managed efficiently in industry, cities, and society.

The call seeks application-oriented research approaches that develop forward-looking solutions – for example through smart technologies, digital water management, or innovative materials that help conserve resources and open up new perspectives for a sustainable future.

  • Freie Universität Berlin
  • Technische Universität Berlin
  • Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin
  • Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin

Eligible applicant groups include:
