This year Staex won in the category Web3.0 - DLT, Blockchain, NFT & Metaverse. Congratulations on this success!

About Staex

The startup Staex envisions a world in which the computing power of every machine is 100% utilized and we enter the era of a zero-waste IT infrastructure. That's why the team is building the Staex platform, which offers a complete solution for efficient networking and distributed DevOps-as-a-Service. Staex is a clean-tech software that enables distributed islands of IT networks to communicate with each other, sharing services between multiple partners and orchestration from any node in the network. They already have these capabilities and will be particularly relevant in the IoT environment in the future.

About the DEEP TECH Award

The presentation of the DEEP TECH Award is the annual highlight of the campaign. Since 2015, the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises has presented the award to Berlin companies and start-ups. The DEEP TECH Award is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (EFRE). Prizes are awarded for application-oriented and proven solutions as well as products based on software and/or hardware that are characterized by a high degree of innovation and great future potential.

Berlin Startup Grant

The startup Staex was originally supported by the Berlin Startup Grant. Funded by the European Social Fund and the State of Berlin (Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises), the Berlin Startup Grant supports innovative, technology-based start-up projects (2-4 people) in the development of a marketable prototype. Scholarship holders receive a grant of 2,000 euros per team member as well as access to infrastructure and supporting coaching and qualification modules. The funding period is between 6 - 15 months, depending on the scholarship program and the needs or phase of the start-up.
