Art meets Science: Join the Open Knowledge Lab!

Berlin University Alliance launches ideas competition ‘Art meets science’

‘Your idea. Your city. Your poster.’ - Under this motto, the Berlin University Alliance invites all researchers in Berlin to bring their scientific work into the public space. In collaboration and co-creation with artists, a visual translation of the research topic is created. The winners will not only receive a professional artistic interpretation of their research, their projects will be part of a city-wide poster exhibition, they will receive a presentation on social media and the opportunity to show their work at the Long Night of Science.

Whether it's a bachelor's thesis, PhD project or basic research, whether it's university, non-university, in a museum or elsewhere - all projects are welcome! We particularly invite student research projects to participate and groups can also take part in the competition.

Submissions should come from these areas: Global Health, Social Cohesion, Innovation & Transfer, Quantum Technology, Water. The registration process is simple, a short description of the research project/topic is sufficient.

Click here for the website with all the details, the application deadline is 15 March 2025.
