The Innovation & Transfer Division at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (HU) supports researchers and students in transferring their research into market and society through various channels, such as patents and startups. The division works closely with Humboldt-Innovation GmbH.
As part of the project “T!Raum GreenChem”, a joint initiative with Technische Universität and Freie Universität Berlin, a new transfer space is being established to accelerate the “chemical transition” and promote the transfer of research results into market and society.
To strengthen the team, HU is looking for a:
Team Member in Innovation Management for Green Chemistry as part of the above-mentioned third-party funded project (m/f/d),
part-time may be possible, limited until 30.09.2026, pay grade E9a TV-L HU

Your Responsibilities
- Organize and implement events within the Green Chemistry project (needs assessment, development of new formats, etc.)
- Manage project finances (fund administration, exploring new funding sources, etc.)
- Provide administrative support for building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders from industry and academia (identifying relevant actors, initiating and maintaining contact, networking, etc.)
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training in administration or equivalent skills and experience
- Solid knowledge of budgetary law, including experience with third-party fund management
- General administrative expertise
- Familiarity with HU’s relevant regulations, procedures, and structures
- Experience in planning, organizing, and implementing events
- Proficient in common office software (Word, Excel)
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written (at least B2)
- Good English skills (at least B2)
- Strong service orientation, communication, and organizational skills
