Video interview with Brain City Berlin Ambassador Volker Hofmann

Volker Hofmann ist Botschafter von Brain City Berlin

Volker Hofmann, Managing Director of Humboldt-Innovation GmbH and Brain City Berlin Ambassador.

Berlin is a versatile, interdisciplinary, open-minded, and innovative science metropolis. The diversity of the capital is highlighted by the Brain City Berlin campaign. At the heart of the campaign by Berlin Partner for Business and Technology and the Berlin Partner Science Network are the Brains of Berlin: renowned scientists, emerging researchers, and representatives of scientific institutions. As part of Brain City Berlin, these individuals act as ambassadors who aim to inspire others about the metropolis outside of Berlin.

Our company’s managing director, Volker Hofmann, is one of these ambassadors and is now also featured in the new video interview series by Brain City.

As managing director of a knowledge and technology transfer company, his goal is to bring research into practice. For him, Berlin is a very special location: “I am fascinated by the inexhaustible innovative potential of Berlin’s science ecosystem. Driving forward pioneering topics and strengthening the flow of ideas and innovation in industry, business, and society is a key motivator for me.”
