Quarterly, we present the latest figures from the Humboldt Founder Ecosystem, and we can now reveal the 2024 balance sheet.

In 2024, our Humboldt Founders established 95 new companies, bringing the total number of companies founded by HU alumni to 683. These companies alone created an impressive 5,954 jobs in 2024, resulting in a total of 32,187 jobs created by our alumni.

Additionally, Humboldt Founders raised a total funding sum of €1.1 billion last year, enabling them to further grow their companies.

We are especially pleased to see that in 2024, 46% more companies were founded by women compared to the previous year. Also, there is a 81% increase in companies working on Social Development Goals which is great as well.

Diversity pays off, also in the form of internationalization of companies. In 2024, it became clear that Humboldt Founders are not only focusing on the European market (47%), but are also expanding into the USA (13%) and Asia (7.5%).

For more exciting insights, take a look at the report, which also includes interviews with founders such as Tobias Wagenführer from Aaron.ai and Sebastian Schulze, founder and chairman of Fit Analytics.
