BERLIN QUANTUM BarBQ – Female Leadership

The BERLIN QUANTUM BarBQ community series brings together Berlin’s quantum ecosystem — this time with a focus on female leadership. The event offers insights into career paths, visibility, leadership styles, and hands-on experience from both academia and industry. The programme includes two keynotes, followed by a panel discussion with Q&A and networking in a relaxed atmosphere.

The event is open to anyone interested in quantum technologies or actively shaping the field — from students and researchers to founders and industry professionals. No prior knowledge is required.

Preliminary agenda

5:20 PM – Welcome and introduction
5:30 PM – Keynote I
5:50 PM – Keynote II
6:15 PM – Panel discussion “Female Leadership in Quantum” with Q&A
7:00 PM – Community BarBQ / drinks & networking
8:00 PM – Closing, followed by an informal get-together on the rooftop terrace (weather permitting)

Good to know

Snacks and drinks will be provided, including vegetarian and vegan options. Non-alcoholic cocktails will also be available. The event is part of the BERLIN QUANTUM community series in Berlin-Adlershof.

Psychotherapists gain an insight into the behavioural therapy treatment programme for adults on the autism spectrum developed by the university outpatient clinic. The programme also addresses topics such as stress and emotion regulation, as well as the nature of the therapeutic relationship, which often presents different challenges with this target group.

Diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorders in adulthood

This short workshop provides an overview of the diagnostic criteria and methods used in (differential) diagnosis in adults and introduces cognitive-behavioural therapy approaches for adults on the autism spectrum.
