For the first time since 1962, Germany is once again hosting the General Congress of the International Academy of Comparative Law (AIDC). This time, Berlin and Humboldt University have been chosen to organise the event. In this way, the Academy aims to incorporate the pluralism, openness and innovative approaches that Humboldt University stands for into this international event. After all, the Congress serves to bring together the whole world, encompassing all disciplines, methods, principles and values of law. Around 500 participants are expected. Those interested can look forward to a wide range of topics and special events, such as the 100th anniversary of UNIDROIT.
