The classicist building in Luisenstraße was built according to a design by Ludwig Ferdinand Hesse. Completed in 1840, it was the teaching building of the first Prussian veterinary school. The entire building has been extensively restored. The ballroom on the 2nd floor offers space for events, lectures, conferences, summer schools and reviews of graduate programs.
