About Us
Humboldt-Innovation is the enterprise of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and serves as its interface with the business world. Our mission is to transfer the university's expertise into society and the economy. To achieve this, we advise researchers on all aspects of contract research and support young university entrepreneurs in founding their own startups. As a key bridge-builder, we connect people within and outside the university and actively promote exchange between science, business, and politics. The Innovation Marketing team is looking for a motivated Student Assistant to support our Marketing and Communications department starting mid-August 2026. Job Insert on Stepstone: Link
Your responsibilities will include:
- Editorial maintenance of knowledge and technology transfer websites as well as other internal and external communication channels
- Creation of social media posts
- Supporting the creation of editorial content for the website and blog
- Assisting with PR and marketing activities to promote knowledge and technology transfer
- Research tasks
- Media monitoring and generating reports
- Creating and sending newsletters, invitations, and other mailings
- Supporting events in the field of transfer
We are looking for a creative, open-minded, and dedicated individual who is eager to learn, shows initiative, and takes responsibility. For the tasks above, we require:
- Native-level German and fluent English, with excellent communication skills in both languages
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Confident handling of social media, websites (including Content Management Systems), and mailing programs
- Strong organizational skills and an independent, precise way of working
- Proactivity and a willingness to learn
- Creativity, a passion for language, and text-based work
- Initial practical experience in marketing and/or social media is desirable.
