The Humboldt-Innovation Academy is currently developing a new offering that brings the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin campus to life in a lively and accessible way. Our campus tours guide visitors, delegations, students and staff through the history, research and innovative power of HU and open doors to places that are often overlooked in everyday life. The tours combine historical background with insights into current science and show how diverse and dynamic life at the university is.
The aim is not only to explain the campus, but to bring it to life: where research takes place, how scientists work, what stories the buildings tell and what makes this place so special. This creates an authentic experience that provides orientation, inspires enthusiasm and fosters a stronger connection to Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Delegations receive tailor-made tours, visitors to Berlin a high-quality alternative to classic city tours, and students and staff find it easier to access their new environment.
We are currently expanding our range of offerings: from themed tours on women at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin or the history of science to tours on innovation, start-ups or architecture. We are also planning multilingual and accessible formats as well as digitally supported elements that will make the campus an interactive experience. Our aim is to show how much science, culture and future potential the campus has to offer – and to bring people closer to a place that inspires, connects and arouses curiosity.
