Environmental Education at Späth Arboretum

As part of the program "Knowledge – Qualification – Certification for Biodiversity" by the National Working Group of State-Sponsored Environmental Education Centers in Nature and Environmental Protection (BANU), the [H]Umwelt-Akademie, in cooperation with the Stiftung Naturschutz Berlin, offers the "Field Botany Bronze" qualification course. The course consists of various units covering theory, practice, and self-study. The course content is aligned with plant phenology and may be subject to change. Each course day consists of a theoretical unit followed by species identification exercises.

The basic courses at Bronze level are aimed at professional and volunteer actors in the field of nature conservation, employees of associations and authorities, environmental consultancies and planning offices, students (e.g., Biology, Agroecology, Teacher Training), career starters, and interested individuals with initial basic knowledge.
