The participants are introduced to the basics of everyday communication in ASL. They will also learn about the history and culture of the American Sign Language community and its art and poetry. The course is divided into two modules.

Further training language
The lecturer is deaf and uses German sign language as teaching language. There will be no interpreters for German Sign Language on site.
