Mori-Ōgai-Memorial

The Mori-Ōgai-Memorial is located on the first floor of a historic building on Luisenstraße, not far from the Charité. It commemorates the Japanese physician, writer, and translator Mori Ōgai (1862 – 1922), who lived here in 1887 – 88 during his studies in Berlin, and with its permanent exhibition and the memorial room furnished in the Gründerzeit style offers a unique, atmospheric setting for small events and cultural gatherings.
