Financial Management
For most events, funding comes from a variety of sources. Participation fees may be charged, external project funding may be utilised, or the university’s own budgetary funds may be used.
- External funding: Participation fees and sponsorship (collected via the HI)
- External funding collected via the SZF (DFG etc.): External funding management and administration
- Budgetary funds at HU (via the Research or Budget Department)
The individual guidelines and instructions for use must be observed for each budget. All funds used in connection with your event must be summarised in a funding plan for information purposes. We would be happy to work with you to draw up a funding plan for your event, taking into account the relevant legal and tax requirements.
