Talking Transfer: Startup Support for Science-Based Ventures from Berlin Universities

Researchers from all disciplines at the BUA institutions are warmly invited to this online information session introducing Science & Startups - the joint startup service of TU Berlin, HU Berlin and FU Berlin, in cooperation with Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin.

In this one-hour session, you will learn how Science & Startups supports researchers who are interested in transferring their research results into practice through a startup. You will get a concise overview of available support and concludes with time for questions and discussion. The event covers:

  • What Science & Startups is and how it is organized across the participating universities
  • Which services and formats are available to you as a researcher (e.g. consulting, qualification, networking)
  • How Science & Startups supports early-stage startups
  • An overview of relevant funding and grant options for academic founders

The event is aimed at researchers who are curious about entrepreneurship, are considering a startup idea, or simply want to learn more about the support structures available within the Berlin university landscape.

The event is open to researchers from TU Berlin and BUA partner institutions.
